The distinctions were awarded amongst great competition from all over Scotland, making the purchase a guarantee of quality for the shop in Muirhead, which has had its own fair share of awards.
Stewart Collins, owner,stated the purchase was done mainly with the customers in mind: “We wanted a way to say thank you to all our loyal customers who have helped us have an excellent year. We owe them our success, so I thought making sure the beef we offered for Christmas was the best they could buy would be a good reward”
This is not the first time S Collins & Son has proven to excel in the field at both customer service and food quality. The shop, together with its online extension, have won many award throughout the years, being in the top 2 butchers in Scotland for the third time in a row for 2015.
