Many congratulations to our own Christine, Kelly and Caroline for studying hard and passing their Meat Managers Level 2 exam! The lovely ladies also put in the extra work to achieve success in their HACCP exam and coursework! We’ll all take inspiration from them and put it towards making our store even better, having more knowledge for our customers and continuing the award winning products and sevices!
These qualifications offer people the opportunity to develop professional skills and knowledge for the meat and poultry industry, including handling of livestock, primary meat processing, secondary processing/butchery and butchery sales and service. They help people to progress in their careers or to move into a specialist area, such as quality assurance or laboratory operations.
HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point) is a system that helps food business operators look at how they handle food and introduces procedures to make sure the food produced is safe to eat.
