Pink Friday Results
Hello everyone! We just wanted to tell you all how happy we are with our customers. You might remember this October 25th we participated in Pink Day to help fundraise and raise awareness for breast cancer. We weren’t the only ones doing it- people and businesses all around the country get together every October to try to offer some much needed support to the people affected by breast cancer, as well as their family and friends.
Through our customers who bought our special offer for the day, we raised £137 and S Collins & Son matched the donation and contributed £275 to the campaign’s efforts. We’re mentioning this because we just got a letter from Cancer Care Scotland, and we’re all so proud of our customers. Here’s what they said:
“On behalf of the thousands of people we support every year, I’d like to say a big thank you to everyone at S Collins & Son for supporting Breast Cancer Care by taking part in this year’s Pink Fridays campaign. We very much appreciate the fantastic £275 that you raised for us by holding a pink day.
Please pass on my heartfelt thanks to everyone who took part and helped make your fundraising such a success. We really appreciate all the time and effort given by those involved.
The money you raised will be put to very good use. Last year in Scotland we provided personal support to 2,080 people and a further 118,000 people over the phone and via our website and expert publications, ensuring that when breast cancer overshadows everything we’re here for the person underneath.”
