SALSA Accreditation AchievedStewart Collins
|We are delighted to let our customers (especially our trade customers) know that we recently gained our SALSA (Safe and local supplier approval) accreditation.
What is it?
Written by experienced food safety experts, SALSA is a robust and effective food safety certification scheme which is appropriate for smaller food producers and suppliers.
Approved suppliers can demonstrate that they operate to standards that are recognised and accepted across the industry and exceed the minimum standards expected by enforcement authorities.
In order to achieve this accreditation we have had to demonstrate that we have high quality food safety systems in place, right across all aspects of our business.
The SALSA accreditation is often sought by larger organisations, such as supermarkets and large hotel & restaurant chains as a minimum standard that a supplier must achieve in order to be able to supply them with their products.
The accreditation comes after a great deal of work was put in by many S. Collins & Son team members across the business, so a big thank you to each and every one of you who helped us achieve this accreditation.
