S. Collins & Son Shop

Hello, we thought it would be useful with all the talk of the Omicron variant in the news at the moment to set out our procedures for the coming weeks, as many customers will be coming to the shop to collect their Christmas & New Year orders.

As you can imagine this is a difficult time for our customers, staff and the general operations of the business as we try to adapt to new government guidelines. Our intention all through this pandemic is to ensure that we keep our staff and customers safe, whilst at the same time trying to offer our great service that you have come to expect.

Social Distancing will be back in force in the shop and we would ask that all customers observe this when queueing outside and when collecting their orders in the shop. There will be a limited number of customers in the shop at any one time and customers are reminded that when the coloured lights on the outside of the shop are ‘Green’ then they are ok to enter and when ‘Red’ we would kindly ask that you wait outside until they turn green. We will of course do our best to minimise the time that customers wait, but queues may form at peak times.

For us as a business, we will undoubtedly have to deal with staff self-isolating, which will in-turn mean that we may from time to time have less staff working in the shop than normal. The team will be working extremely hard to make sure that this does not impact customers too much, but we do ask for your support and understanding, if it takes a little longer than usual to serve you.

Once again thank you so much for your support over the past year and beyond. It is very much appreciated.

We would like to take this opportunity to wish you all a safe, prosperous Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
