June the 14th sees the start of the European Championships, where hosts Germany play Scotland in the opening game at the Munich Football Arena. Scotland, as well as Germany, will also come up against Switzerland (who we play on 19th June) and Hungary (who we play on 23rd June) with all 3 games in the qualifying group stage kicking off at 8pm.

Competition 1 – Pick the Championship Winner: All you need to do to enter this competition is choose who you think will win the Euros…it’s that simple! Entries can be made through the S. Collins & Son Facebook Page. The closing date for entries is 7.30pm on Friday the 14th June. Everyone who correctly chooses the winning team will be placed into a draw, after the 14th July, when the tournament ends, and one lucky winner will be drawn out the hat and they will win a ยฃ50 S. Collins & Son Gift Card.
Competition 2 – Predict the Number of Goals Scotland Will Score During the Euros: To be in with a chance of winning a ยฃ50 S. Collins & Son Gift Card all you have to do is guess how many goals Scotland will score during the Euros. Entry is through the S. Collins & Son Facebook Page and the closing date for entries is 7.30pm on Friday 14th June. All the entrants who correctly predict the correct number of goals Scotland have scored in the Euros will be placed into the draw once Scotland are no longer involved in the tournament and one lucky will be drawn out of the hat. (Please note only goals scored in normal play and extra time will count towards Scotland’s total, penalty shootout goals will not count).
