A true King of Steaks - A bone in Rib-eye.
Similar in appearance to a Tomahawk axe with the bone extending from the centre of the cut, this steak is the biggest we sell.
This is a real centrepiece of a steak, being able to sufficiently feed as many as four adults.
Coming French trimmed to look as presentable as possible, our Tomahawks are well marbled to promise melting quality when cooked, while being on the bone promises maximum flavour.
We hand-butcher our beef using traditional techniques and our meat contains high amounts of omega-3s and is loaded with vitamins and minerals due to a grass-fed diet.
|Suggested Cooking Instructions||Ensure meat is room temperature before cooking.
Sear either side of your tomahawk on high heat until a rich and dark crust has formed.
Fry the meat for 5 minutes each side for medium rare and add butter to the pan.
Alternatively, pop the tomahawk steak into a pre-heated oven (180°C) for 10-12 minutes.
For a medium rare temperature, ensure the core of the steak is over 52°C.
Rest steak in a warm place for half the cooking time before serving.
We recommend use of a meat thermometer for best and safest results.
