Minced Beef is a staple of a butcher's trade, but nowadays the focus is often making the beef go as far as possible. Our approach for our classic mince is different, and hasn't changed for generations. The beasts used are in their prime, grass fed, and sourced from small farms that produce consistent beef, while the cuts used promise ample marbling for proper flavour and colouring.Sourced from a handful of farms in the central belt of Scotland, our beef is grass-fed, free-range and aged for a minimum 28 days. The meat contains high amounts of omega-3s and is loaded with vitamins and minerals due to the grass-fed diet. We hand-butcher our beef using traditional techniques.
|Suggested Cooking Instructions||Browning mince is essential to bring our flavour and colour to dishes. Fry for around 5 minutues and drain excess juices. We always recommend the use of a meat thermometer.
