Sweet, tender and full of natural flavour, our Seasoned Chantenay Carrots are hand prepared in our Muirhead shop as an easy, restaurant-inspired side for the Collins at Home collection.
Chantenay carrots are naturally small, sweet and flavoursome, making them an excellent choice when you want a vegetable side that feels a little more special. We lightly coat them with a seasoning of sea salt and aromatic Lampong black pepper, together with natural flavourings and spice extract, allowing the sweetness of the carrots to remain at the centre of the dish.
Lampong black pepper is prized for its fragrant, warm pepper character. Rather than adding aggressive heat, it gives the carrots a rounded savoury finish that complements their natural sweetness and works particularly well alongside chicken, Scotch Beef or pork.
Cooked in the oven, the carrots soften while developing a lightly roasted character around the outside, creating a simple but satisfying accompaniment with very little effort at home.
Flavour profile: Naturally sweet and gently savoury with sea salt, aromatic black pepper and subtle warming spice.
