Hand prepared in our Muirhead shop using fresh quality boneless UK chicken breast, our Indonesian Sticky Chicken delivers big, savoury flavours with a delicious sweet and sticky finish.
Generous pieces of chicken breast are combined with an Indonesian-inspired sauce featuring soy, tomato, onion and warming spices. The sweetness of the sauce is balanced by savoury soy, while coriander, paprika, turmeric, ginger, fenugreek, chilli, cumin and other spices build layers of flavour without overpowering the chicken.
A touch of sesame adds a subtle nuttiness and helps give the finished dish its distinctive Asian-inspired character.
The result is succulent chicken coated in a glossy, deeply flavoured sauce that's sweet, savoury and gently spiced. It's an easy introduction to Indonesian-inspired flavours and pairs particularly well with rice or Asian-style vegetables.
