| A rich, aromatic Indonesian-inspired curry, hand prepared in our Muirhead shop using 100% Scotch Beef. We specifically use diced shin of beef for our Rendang. Shin is one of the most flavoursome cuts of beef and is particularly suited to dishes with deep, powerful sauces. Its rich beef flavour stands up beautifully against the aromatic spices in a Rendang and becomes wonderfully tender during cooking. The Scotch Beef is paired with a complex sauce combining coconut cream, ginger, galangal, lemongrass, coriander, cumin, cardamom, cinnamon, chilli and warming spices. Tamarind brings a gentle tang while coconut cream balances the spices with richness and a subtle sweetness. It creates a deeply satisfying dish where the flavour develops with every mouthful. Expect fragrant spice rather than overwhelming heat, followed by the richness of coconut and the unmistakable flavour of Scotch Beef.
