| Fresh, vibrant and wonderfully aromatic, our Sticky Lemon Chicken is hand prepared in our Muirhead shop using fresh quality boneless UK chicken breast. The chicken is coated in a bright citrus sauce containing real lemon peel paste, giving the dish a much more rounded lemon flavour than simple lemon juice alone. Coriander, garlic, onion and dill add savoury and herbal notes while a carefully balanced spice blend including ginger, paprika, turmeric, cumin and gentle chilli brings warmth and depth. The sweetness in the sauce balances the natural sharpness of the lemon, creating a glossy coating around the succulent pieces of chicken. The result is a dish that's lighter and fresher tasting than many creamy or curry-style options but still delivers plenty of flavour.
