| A wonderfully rich and aromatic Thai-inspired curry, hand prepared in our Muirhead shop using 100% Scotch Beef. For our Massaman we use diced shin of beef. This traditional slow-cooking cut has exceptional depth of flavour and is ideal for a rich curry. As it cooks, the shin becomes beautifully tender while retaining enough character to stand up to the powerful combination of coconut and aromatic spices. Our Massaman sauce combines creamy coconut with onion, garlic, ginger, galangal and lemongrass alongside cumin, coriander, cardamom, cinnamon, cloves, nutmeg and star anise. Tamarind and lime bring a subtle acidity that cuts through the richness while a gentle sweetness rounds everything off. Massaman is generally milder than many Thai curries, making this a great choice if you enjoy big, aromatic flavours without excessive chilli heat.
